This candle is dedicated to 'Pieman' known to others as Roger... He was a great, great friend and fellow, founding member of PEGS (the Polyethylene Golf Society) almost 25 years ago.... we have drunk, golfed, laughed, cried and enjoyed many happy and sad hours together over those years, in good times and bad, but Rog was always there as a solid and wise confidant and supporter. If the world was full of Roger Newcombes, it would be a considerably better place..... I will miss you always Rog, but I will remember you always also and have been proud to be able to call you a friend.....My candle of remembrance is for your memory and with love and thoughts to Anne and the family at this sad time
